Instaprint has installed the new Iridesse Production Press from Xerox speciality dealer Zerographics in a move that will generate creative excitement within the local Nottingham design community and our web clients.

Together with the amazing new capabilities of this machine and the combined expertise of the two well-established and experienced printing companies staff in Nottingham, the future is bright. Technical Director, Alan Edwards, said, “The sparkle of HD EA Silver and Gold metallic can be used on their own or layered with CMYK to deliver new, stunning iridescent pallets that create a real “wow” factor in the finished printed product. Furthermore, the Color-Logic Process Metallic Color System uses special algorithms to provide an array of speciality effects, such as patterns, watermarks, gradients and much more. We will be able to share this software with our clients to enable them direct access to our print queue thereby enabling faster turnaround and a guaranteed amazing result”. In coming weeks we will be adding ‘XLS’ long sheet capacity to produce duplex print that previously wasn’t possible. New products will be added to the website soon to provide enduser clients with simple web ordering.

Tony Barnett, Managing Director added “we have taken this opportunity to combine two highly respected teams of printers in John E Wright & Instaprint under one roof so that we can achieve a genuinely creative environment for our customers with a “can-do” and helpful attitude at an affordable price.

Together with the large and grand format operation based on Queen’s Drive, the combined operations in Nottingham will provide a full suite of digital print, signage and exhibition solutions and support over 40 jobs within the City. At a time of uncertainty, we are proud to contribute to the community with investment, jobs and local charitable support”. The Iridesse joins an impressive array of existing high quality modern production equipment at John E Wright / Instaprint and will appeal to anyone looking for new creative print finishes for brochures, environmental documents, tenders, leaflets, invitations, Christmas cards and much more. Production will be jointly managed by Jet Desai from Instaprint and Sarah Dawson from John E Wright. Whilst we are sorry to say goodbye to Heathcote Street, the refurbished print rooms at Huntingdon Street provide a much improved working environment.

We will be providing a downloadable design guide to assist customers with the creation of artwork to make to most of this amazing print technology. Please email sales@johnewright.com for more information.
