About the papers we use.
The basic stock we use for our Wedding Stationery is heavy weight 400gsm white uncoated stock. This has a premium feel and is ideal for invitations and cards and will not curl when used free standing.
Order of Service use 300gsm uncoated stock for the outers and 200gsm for the inners.
Creative Papers
Our range of creative papers offer the opportunity to create highly personalised stationery.
Advocate Smooth Natural White. This is a pale ivory stock, uncoated and smooth, available in 250gsm & 300gsm weights.
Woodstock Betulla. This recycled stock is a cream tone with light flecks. Available in 225gsm.
Majestic Marble White. This is a white pearlised paper stock available in 250gsm.
When requesting ‘Creative Papers', specify in the order notes which you wish to use.
Unfortunately, we cannot offer matching envelopes for these papers.
Artwork Guide
For standard items (without gold or silver content) please provide PDF files to the correct finished size and with 3mm bleed. We have a detailed artwork specification guide which you can download HERE
Setting up artwork for gold/silver spot colour requires a professional design application such as InDesign, Photoshop or Illustrator. We have produced a detailed guide for working with metallic / spot colours which you can access HERE
In some cases, we can work with your files to add metallic / spot colour. This requires editable files (un-flattened PDF files) and is a chargeable service. Please submit your files as normal and we will contact you to confirm what we can do and the additional cost. Design is charged at £40.00 + VAT per hour, but in many cases, simple amends are no more than £20.00 + VAT.

Design time is charged on an hourly basis of £48+vat per hour.
